These terms govern your use of XpertKonect — India's verified global professional directory. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using XpertKonect ("Platform", "Website", "we", "us", "our") at xpertkonect.com, you ("User", "Professional", "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately. Continued use of XpertKonect constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered professionals, firm accounts, and clients accessing the platform in any capacity.
About XpertKonect
XpertKonect is a free, verified global professional directory that connects:
- Chartered Accountants (CA) — verified by ICAI
- Company Secretaries (CS) — verified by ICSI
- Cost Accountants (CMA) — verified by ICMAI
- Advocates — verified by Bar Council of India
- Tax Consultants — verified via GSTP / Income Tax Practitioner credentials
XpertKonect acts as a directory and discovery platform only. We do not provide professional services, legal advice, financial advice, or tax advice. We are not responsible for any services rendered by professionals listed on the platform.
User Eligibility
To use XpertKonect, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- Not be barred from using the platform by any applicable law or regulation
For professional registration, you must hold a valid, current membership or registration with the relevant institute (ICAI, ICSI, ICMAI, Bar Council) or possess the relevant credentials (for Tax Consultants).
Professional Registration
4.1 Individual Professional Account
- You may register as an individual professional with your personal credentials
- Your institute membership number will be used for verification
- You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and up to date
- You may download your verified profile as a professional resume PDF
4.2 Firm Registration
- You may additionally register your firm as a separate profile
- Firm profiles display partner names with full profiles and staff count (qualified, semi-qualified, assistant)
- You may download your firm's company profile as a PDF
- Firm information must be accurate and reflect current organisational structure
4.3 Verification
- XpertKonect reserves the right to verify your credentials against institute records
- Providing false or incorrect membership numbers is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate removal
- Verification does not constitute endorsement of your professional services by XpertKonect
⚠️ Misrepresentation of credentials is a serious violation and may be reported to the relevant institute (ICAI, ICSI, ICMAI, Bar Council) and/or law enforcement authorities.
Client Usage
- Clients may browse up to 3 professional profiles without registration
- Viewing 4 or more profiles requires free registration on the platform
- Client accounts are for personal or business use only — not for scraping or data collection
- Clients connect directly with professionals — XpertKonect is not a party to any professional engagement or service agreement
- Clients are solely responsible for verifying additional credentials before engaging a professional
XpertKonect is a discovery platform only. Any engagement between a client and a professional is a direct, independent arrangement. XpertKonect has no role or liability in such engagements.
Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on XpertKonect:
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and legal action under applicable Indian law.
Verification & Accuracy of Information
XpertKonect makes reasonable efforts to verify professional credentials but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of all information on the platform at all times.
- Professionals are solely responsible for the accuracy of their profile information
- Institute membership status may change after verification — professionals must update their profiles accordingly
- Clients should independently verify credentials before engaging any professional
- XpertKonect does not warrant the quality, competence, or suitability of any listed professional
Intellectual Property
All content on XpertKonect — including but not limited to the website design, logo, brand name, text, graphics, and software — is the intellectual property of XpertKonect and is protected under applicable Indian and international IP laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without written permission
- The XpertKonect name, logo, and "XK" hexagon mark are trademarks of XpertKonect
- Professionals grant XpertKonect a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display their profile information on the platform for the purpose of professional discovery
Disclaimer of Warranties
XpertKonect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any professional profile or information
- We are not responsible for the professional services rendered by any listed professional
- XpertKonect is a discovery platform — not a professional services provider
⚠️ XpertKonect does not provide legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice. Always consult a qualified professional for specific advice tailored to your situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, XpertKonect and its founders, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
- Any damages arising from reliance on information displayed on professional profiles
- Any disputes, losses, or damages arising from engagements between clients and professionals
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the platform or any user account
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Account Termination
XpertKonect reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account — professional or client — at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of:
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Providing false or misleading credentials
- Misuse of the platform or other users' data
- Receipt of complaints from other users or institutes
- Any conduct that harms the reputation or integrity of XpertKonect
Professionals may also voluntarily deactivate or delete their profiles at any time by contacting us at support@xpertkonect.com.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
- We encourage users to first attempt resolution by contacting us at legal@xpertkonect.com
- If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
Changes to Terms
XpertKonect reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made:
- The "Last Updated" date will be updated at the top of this page
- Registered users will be notified via email or platform notification
- Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms
